Daniel John Seawood

Daniel John Seawood, 66 of Effort, PA, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a very brief battle with liver cancer.
Dan is the son of the late Richard and Judy (Coffey) Seawood. He grew up on Southside Easton and graduated from Easton High School.
After retiring from Harvel Plastics in 2020, Dan enjoyed spending time in the sunshine, swimming and bike riding. He loved nature and wildlife, but not all the noises, especially crickets and frogs at 1:00 Am; however, he faithfully fed a variety of birds that relied on him daily.
Often referred to as "Doppler Dan". he provided his family with the more accurate weather report, jokingly questioning WNEP's Joe Snedeker.
Dan's other interests included attending airshows, flying, skydiving, and NASCAR. He was also an avid history buff.
He was a treasured uncle, always treating his nieces and nephews to trips to New York City, Dorney Park, and so many other local adventures.
Dan is survived by his sisters: Debra Hartley, Dawn Weider, Dana Seawood and a brother, David Seawood, as well as many nieces and nephews. Most impacted by Uncle Dan's everlasting love were, Rachel, Jon, Amber, Erik, Vanessa, Chad, Christopher, Austin, Gwen, Shyla and Presley, and especially the absolute Apple of his Eye, Isabella Mae.
He was preceded in death by his brother: Daryl Seawood, nephews Ray Hartey, Jimmy Weider, niece Tricia Seawood and brother-in-law Jim Weider.
A Celebration of Life service will be held later.
In lieu of flowers, please feed our feathered friends and think of Dan. He believed that when a Cardinal appears an angel is near, reminding us to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life.
