Daniel Robert Seelig

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Robert Seelig, age 57, of Rockbridge Ohio on October 27, 2024. Danny was born July 27,1967 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John and Rita (Harrison) Seelig. He was a graduate of Father Wehrle High School. Danny is survived by his loving wife Tammy (Speakman), step children Douglas Speakman and Alicia(Max) Forester, grandchildren Zoey and Zane Speakman, Preston Forester, brothers in law Troy (Molly) Speakman, Tony (Tammy) Speakman TJ (Denise) Speakman and mother and father in law Harold and Alice Speakman. He is also survived by brothers Mike (Dayna), Tom (Brenda, Jim (Chantelle) Seelig and sisters Peggy Seelig, and Patty (Jim) Wood and brother in law Steve Wright as well as numerous nieces, nephews and the Harrison cousins. He was preceded in death by sisters Ruth McMann and Mary Wright as well as brother in law Todd Speakman. Danny worked at ODW for many years. He enjoyed spending time with the love of his life Tammy and his family and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home at 1346 S. High St, Columbus, Ohio 43207 from 2-4PM & 6-8PM, with a service following at 8:00PM.
A prayer service will be held at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff and physicians at The James Hospital as well as Buckeye Hospice for all the care they gave Danny.
