Daniel Myron Smith

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Dale M. Smith and Ella M. Smith; niece, Krista Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Aimee Dickason; daughter, Lauren Smith; son, Clark Smith; grandson, Elliot Smith: sister, Julie Krick (Paul); brother, Jay Smith (Jackie); twin brother, David Smith (Dona), Loretta Czerwinski (mother of Lauren and Clark)
Danny was an avid fisherman and golfer (and especially liked when he beat his brother David!). He loved to spend time on the lake on his pontoon boat with Aimee. He dedicated most of his life in the mental health field graduating from Indiana University with a Master's degree. Danny relished in coaching his kids in youth sports and supporting his nephews by attending their many wrestling matches. Danny was also a huge Cubs fan and loved watching them win the world series. Some of his favorite memories were the fishing trips he took with his dad and brother Jay. Danny enjoyed taking his two dogs, Mae and June, on walks by the lake and playing ball with them. Danny loved to bake mom's recipes, especially the nut roll and apple slices. There will be a celebration of life event at a later date in Lowell, Indiana.
