Daniel Smith Obituary
Daniel James Smith, age 75, passed away on October 23, 2025. Beloved son of the late Leah Peterson and James Smith. Loving brother of Mark Schumann, Richard Schumann (deceased), Ann, Constance Schumann (deceased), David Kortje (Sandra), and Dawn Holler. Dear uncle of many.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111, where Closing Reflections and an Honors Ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 12:15 p.m., at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273 (please meet at cemetery by 12 p.m.).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
