Daniel Speth ("Dan the Man"), 56, of Fresno, CA, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2025, at his home.

He was born on March 29, 1969, in Reno, Nevada, to Charles and Janice Speth. Dan grew up in a close-knit family and, along with his twin brother Don, was the youngest of eight children. His childhood home was filled with laughter, joy, hugs, jokes, and stories - memories he carried with him throughout his life. He cherished his siblings deeply, often calling to share good news or to tell them the gardenias were in bloom, a sight that always reminded him of his mother.

Dan graduated from Bishop Manogue High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno. In 1995, he joined the Air National Guard, serving until 2003 in the Civil Engineering Structures Shop. During his years of service, Dan valued the mentorship, teamwork, and camaraderie he shared with his fellow soldiers.

He took the training and life experience he gained in the Guard into his professional life, first working at the National Judicial College alongside his sister Susen, then moving on to Wells Fargo. Eventually, Dan relocated to Fresno and began what became his true calling - a life devoted to helping others.

For the past six years, Dan worked with Rapid Response III, where his greatest strength was his ability to calm clients with his words and to truly see and understand their struggles. He was also best known for his leadership of the Limitless Adult Ministry at Northpointe Community Church, where his faith, kindness, and sense of humor left a lasting impact on countless lives. Dan was easily recognized by his trademark orange shirts, caps, and bowties - earning him the affectionate nickname "Dan the Orange Man" - and he always responded with his favorite catchphrase, "Cool beans."

To know Dan was to know kindness. He lived a life rooted in compassion - devoted to uplifting and caring for people with disabilities. Whether it was taking them to church, sharing meals, going on hikes, or simply listening, Dan was always there. He lived a life of true servitude - not out of obligation, but from the deepest wells of love. A great husband and father, he lived for his wife Nicole and his daughters Danielle and Abbigail. Dan left this world far too soon, and while we know it saddened him to leave his earthly body, we also know he went straight to heaven with his infectious smile, saying, "This is why I have been serving you God, as Psalmist writes, "In your presence is abundant joy, at your right hand are pleasure for ever more". (Psalm 16:11)

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Nicole, and his daughters, Danielle and Abbigail Speth; his nephew, Philip Biscay; sisters Catherine Williams (Cal), Lisa Speth-Jones (Ron), and Laurie Feldman; brothers Phillip Speth (Elena Bray-Speth), Pat Speth (Kelee Speth), and Don Speth (Trista Speth); brother-in-law Alain Biscay; and mother-in-law Denise Daggett, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jan and Charlie Speth; sister, Susen Speth Briganti; father-in-law, Tom Daggett, sister-in-law, Monica Biscay; and brother-in-law Rick Feldman.

A memorial service will be held on August 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Northpointe Community Church, 4625 W Palo Alto Ave, Fresno, CA 93722. All who knew Dan are welcome to attend and share their memories.

Nicole, Danielle, and Abbigail would like to thank Northpointe Community Church, the Limitless Bible Study group, and the many friends and family members for their unwavering love and support during this time.
