Daniel Spires Obituary
Daniel Lee Spires, Sr., entered into Eternal Life on March 3, 2023. He leaves behind a loving and devoted family: sons, Rodie (Theresa) and Lee (Carol), Ricky and Alton.
Danny's surviving family members include, his sons; wife, Francine R. Spires; 29 Grandchildren; and 24 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Patricia Sue Wiles Spires; parents, James E. Spires and Mildred Varnes; grandson, Austin Cody Spires; and brother, Dwaine Spires.
Danny retired from AT&T Nassau Metals and Lab Corp. in Swansea, South Carolina. He loved Nascar racing, fishing, the Lake Life, and karaoke.
The family will receive friends and family at Rodie and Theresa's residence in Leesville, South Carolina on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 12 - 3pm. Afterwards, from 5 – 7pm there will be a visitation and viewing at Thompson Funeral Home in Lexington, South Carolina.
A celebration of life will take place on April 1, 2023 at Danny and Pat's residence in Gaston, South Carolina at 12pm.
