Daniel Stratman Obituary
Born July 26, 1959 in Belleville, he was the son of Roland and Norma (Cobier) Stratman.
Daniel had been a self-employed printer.
Surviving are two sons, Derek Stratman of St. Louis, Dylan Stratman (Ali) of Edwardsville; daughter, Deann (Ben) Leonard of O'Fallon; five grandchildren, Brinley and Brooks Stratman, Evelyn, Cal, and Cole Leonard; and a brother, Roland "Rocky" (Kathy) Stratman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Debbie Gruenewald and Cindy Stratman.
Cremation rites were accorded.

I had the privilege of knowing Dan from living across the street from him in Fairview hrs where I followed him and my brothers around being 4 years younger than them Dan would always let me get in games Dan was one of the best athletes in the area very talented. Later in life we both ended up up in Ofallon and stayed in touch . There is a ton of great memories and laughs one that really stands out is the World Series game we went to and the cards won it all that night we had a blast. U will never be forgotten Dan rest in peace my friend

Dan was a great friend growing up in the old neighborhood in Fairview. Everyday there was a game to play..baseball, football, golf ..and alot of whiffle ball. Dan turned me on to Neil Young and other music. He was with me on my 16th birthday driving my 1965 Datsun Fair Lady back and forth through the neighborhood without a driver's license. Recalling these memories is joyful. He was a good friend. RIP Danny. Peace be with his family.

Remember going to see Tom Petty (Southern Accent Tour) in concert at the Fox. We had awesome seats Center Sec.
