Daniel "Danny" Suddeth, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 75 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on May 17, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, Danny's presence touched the lives of everyone he knew, and his legacy will be cherished for generations.
Danny, renowned for his exceptional ability to fix almost anything, began honing his skills working alongside his dad even before graduating from Argo High School. This generational trade, passed down from his father, became his lifelong passion. Danny took immense pride in his work and, after many years of outstanding achievements, retired from his successful career as a Master Diesel Technician.
In the 1970s, Danny joined the Justice Police Department, where he patrolled alongside his brother, Lenny, and his lifelong best friend, Terry Sweeney. During his time there, he formed deep bonds and cherished memories that would remain with him throughout his life.
Danny, a motorcycle enthusiast, was captivated by the open road. To him, motorcycles were not just a hobby but a symbol of freedom that brought immense joy. He would often embark on long rides, even during the brisk Decembers in Chicago, to participate in "Toys for Tots". He had a generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Additionally, he cherished countless winter seasons spent snowmobiling through the Midwest with loved ones.
Danny is survived by his loving children, Dana Loria (Michael Loria), Tina Scotella (Jason Scotella), and Joseph Jones (Tawnya Jones), and his sister, Susan Albright (Steven Albright). He leaves behind a legacy as a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished by countless family members and friends whose lives he touched.
Danny was preceded in death by his adoring parents, Leonard and Audrey Suddeth; his dear brother, Leonard Suddeth Jr., and his beloved Joan Schrock. Each he cherished deeply.
As the last male heir of the Suddeth name, Daniel's memory holds an even deeper significance, symbolizing the enduring spirit and values of his family lineage. His life was a beacon of strength and integrity, ensuring that the Suddeth name will be remembered with honor and pride for generations to come.
