Daniel E. Swanstrom

DANIEL EDWARD SWANSTROM, 84, of Middletown, New Jersey passed away on November 11, 2025. Born in Astoria, Queens on January 18, 1941 to Daniel Gustave Swanstrom and Muriel Elizabeth Swanstrom (nee Farrell) He is predeceased by his parents and his first son John Daniel Swanstrom (November 18, 1961-March 4, 2015)
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Diane Newport Swanstrom of Middletown, NJ; His children Kelly Ann Swanstrom of Kearny, NJ, Daniel Edward Swanstrom II of Dallas, TX; and his Grandson Carter Daniel also of Dallas, TX.
In addition, he is survived by his Brother-in-law Richard Newport, Sister-in-law Mary Szczeck, their families, children and grandchildren.
He enjoyed spending many fun adventures with his wife and friends in Atlantic City, NJ and was a true-blue New York Yankees supporter.
He worked for over 50 years on Wall Street, while also finding time to coach his children's soccer teams, chaperone a multitude of school activities and teach CCD for many years.
No one can question his love of Bob Dylan and he certainly lived his life "Like A Rolling Stone." He shared so much joy with everyone around him, both with those he held close and those he met along the way. We will all miss him in our own ways - both big and small. Until we meet again.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm - 3:00pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown, New Jersey
Funeral Prayers will be offered at 2:30pm
