Daniel Tahaney Obituary
He was born on June 9, 1947 in Altoona, PA to the late Patrick and Margaret (Leeper) Tahaney.
He served honorably in the United States Air Force before being discharged and working as a maintenance mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Marion F. Tahaney of Hatfield, PA; son, Daniel P. Tahaney (Amelia) of Bristol, PA; step-daughter, Marion Motz (William) of Hatfield, PA; two grandsons, Liam (Katie) and Kevin (Sarah); three great-grandchildren, Leah, Charles, and Ian; three sisters, Sharon Bond (Milton), Catherine Foster (Michael), and Pamela Adkins (Bruce); a brother, Michael Tahaney (Dee), as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Tahaney and a grandson, Matthew Rhoades.
Relatives and friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, with a service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
