Daniel Curry Tiberi, 66, of Cary, passed away peacefully at his home on October 16, 2025. Born on March 19, 1959, in Chicago, to Anthony and Jo Mary Tiberi. Dan was raised in Park Ridge and Long Grove, Illinois.
He studied at Central Iowa College and spent 23 years in leadership at Alcan United Concrete, a company founded by his father. Dan went on to become well known in his field, where his dedication and leadership left a lasting impact on many.
Dan’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was most content gathered around the table sharing a meal, making “Sunday gravy” and pasta, spending summer afternoons by the pool, or simply enjoying the comfort of being together. Despite a lifetime of health challenges, Dan lived with gratitude and presence.
Those experiences gave him a deep appreciation for the ordinary moments: the laughter, conversations, and time shared with those he loved. He fulfilled his role as a husband and father with devotion and pride, always leading with quiet strength and a welcoming heart.
A devout Christian, Dan trusted Christ for the plans He had for his life. Bold in his faith, Dan witnessed to countless people in hopes they would also know Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Desiree; their children, Danielle (Scott) Forton, Danica (Andrew) Forsyth, Anthony (Kimberly) Tiberi, Daniel Tiberi Jr. (Kevin Homan), Andrew, and Dominic; five grandchildren, Jane, Nicolas, Leigh, Luciana, and Cristofor; his brother, Steven (Susan) Tiberi, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Caron.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Dan’s memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his son Dominic’s college fund, a reflection of Dan’s greatest wish that his children continue to grow and see a bright future ahead. To make a gift, visit ugift529.com and use the Ugift code: H64-B02
