Daniel D. Tompkins of Boulder, CO, passed away on March 17, 2025 at the age of 65. He was born to Pete and Louanna Tompkins (Price) in Denver, CO on May 19, 1959.
Dan graduated from Broomfield High School. Although he was raised in Broomfield, CO, he moved around a lot and called Boulder, CO home for the last 15 years.
He had a passion for cooking and always wanted to make sure everyone was fed.
Dan loved music and loved going to concerts, as he got older and couldn't go, he would watch them on television. He always had music playing in his home.
His daughter and granddaughter were his everything. He loved them very much.
He is survived by his daughter, Colette Tompkins of Firestone, CO, granddaughter, Paisley Villa of Firestone, CO, sister Holly Tompkins of Broomfield, CO, cousin Tami Sullivan, and ex-wife Stephanie Talbert (Brad) of Frederick, CO.
He is preceded by his mother Louanna Tompkins, father Pete Tompkins, aunt Judy Sullivan, and uncle Norman Sullivan.
A service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 4:30pm at Rundus Funeral Home, 1998 W. 10th Ave. Broomfield, CO 80020.
Per request, please do not wear black. Please wear paisley or your favorite band T-shirt.
Following the service, a reception will be held at Buenos Tiempos at 5:30pm, 1000 Depot Hill Rd. Unit 1, Broomfield, CO 80020.
