This is for my husband. Dan was his grandpa more of a dad figure to him actually. My husband loves Dan so much and he is so heart broken that his grandpa got called home what seemed to be to soon. Brother Dan you are ever so greatly missed. I didn't get a very good chance of getting to know you but I can see all the love and sorrow in my husband's eyes. We love you and miss you grandpa. And the Lord has a better plan for you.

Even though Dan had a lot to do, he found time to call us frequently just to see how we were doing. In fact, he called just a week or so ago. We love his singing and play his CD's often. We encountered him often when he preached and sang at Kindred Nursing Home. We also met up with him a lot at various fast-food joints! We soon realized that he was there to witness, not just to eat. His was such an easy-going, friendly manner that it was easy for people to listen and often respond to his story of Jesus. There are lots of people in heaven who would not be there were it not for Dan.

Dale Hawks first memory is at White Plains Baptist Church. Bro. Dan and the Kings Travelers. Brenda Hawks was at WPBC with Bro. Dan and Mrs. Black.
He was such a blessing to us and our church, WPBC in Mt. Airy, NC. We're thankful for his testimony. Bro. Dan was one of the best singers and to this day we play his cd on the church radio broadcast, (Just recently) He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My first memory of Bro Dan Toney was him singing with the Kings Travelers at Faith Baptist church in Fairland ,Indiana my dad would take me to church there when I was a young girl and when I heard Bro Dan Toney sing his beautiful voice touched my heart as he sang about our Lord and Savior. I'm 58 now and still listen to the Kings Travelers. And still love Bro Dan Toneys beautiful singing voice. Sing for the Lord now in heaven
