Daniel Tonto

Daniel Joseph Tonto, passed away peacefully on December 10 th, 2022 at the age of 87. Daniel was born in New York City on May 13 th, 1935 to Philomena and Daniel Arthur Tonto. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his sons, Daniel (Sara), David (Sumer), Douglas, Darren (Jerlyn), four grandchildren, Abigail, David, Daniel, Andrew, two sisters, Josephine and Geraldine and many nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Theresa. Daniel served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1955 to 1957. After retiring from Best Foods, Inc. in 1993, Daniel moved to Jacksonville, FL where he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28 th, 2022 at San Jose Catholic Church, 3619 Toledo Road, Jacksonville, FL, Father Remek Blaszkowski as Celebrant.
