Daniel P. Tursi of Maple Shade, formerly of Haddonfield passed away at home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the age of 64. He was born in Philadelphia on April 23, 1960 to the late Daniel J. and Carmella Tursi. Dan was employed as chef at Penn Presbyterian Hospital and formerly at Maggiano's in Cherry Hill. Dan thoroughly enjoyed his career in the culinary arts and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Dan took great pleasure in being his "Mother's Favorite Child".
Loving brother of Donna (Michael) Bidey and the late Carolyn (Louis) DelVecchio, cherished uncle of many nieces, nephews and his dear friends Linda Byrne and Donna Wagner.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Saturday, November 23rd, 9 AM - 12 Noon at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. A memorial service for Dan will follow at 12 Noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society @cancer.org or to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage @vaonj.org
