Daniel David Vonier Sr.

Daniel David Vonier, Sr., 79, of Ochlocknee, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Archbold Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Mike Nichols officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the funeral home Chapel. David was born on February 5, 1945 in Pavo, GA to the late William David Vonier and Hazel Hawkins Vonier. He married Lavonia Eaton Vonier, who survives in Ochlocknee, GA. He worked as a Carpenter. In addition to his wife, he is survived by; his children, Daniel David Vonier, Jr., and Shannon Wilson (Donald), both of Ochlocknee, GA, sister, Betty Weeks of Thomasville, grandchildren, Candace Donaldson (Tate), Kaitlyn Carroll (Luke), Brett Butler (Kaitlyn), Megan Fromkin (Jacob), and Caelan Wilson (Morgan), six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Vonier, and a sister, Shirley Hicks.
