Daniel Cameron Wagoner, 46, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born on July 25, 1977, in Jim Wells, TX to the late Harry James Wagoner and Nancy Eloise Vanhook who survives. Daniel was the beloved husband of 10 years to Dianna Culbreth Wagoner of the home.
He was employed with Lab Corp for nearly 25 years. Daniel was a graduate of UNC Greensboro. Daniel was a gifted singer, who was an active member of Friedens Lutheran Church, where his beautiful voice and love for God touched many hearts. He loved spending time with his family especially his daughter, Julie. Daniel was a loving husband, father, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Survivors other than his wife, Dianna Wagoner include his daughter who he adored, Julie Rebecca Wagoner; his mother, Nancy Eloise Vanhook; his in-laws, Doug and Phyllis Culbreth; sisters-in-law, Devan Culbreth and Carson Culbreth; a nephew, Tommy Culbreth; and extended Wagoner family, his aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Harry Wagoner; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents; and an aunt, Helen Wagoner Jarrett.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Daniel will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Friedens Lutheran Church by Rev. Jenni Zima with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. Following the service the family invites everyone to join them in the fellowship hall for refreshments and fellowship.
