Daniel Charles Weil, 86, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at Memorial Health. He was born August 20, 1938, in Savannah, GA. Mr. Weil graduated from Benedictine Military School and was the owner of Westside Truck Sales and Trailer Towne for over forty years. He was a member of the Congregation Agudath Achim. During his life he enjoyed being active in several civic organizations, including the Alee Shrine Temple, the Racing Club, the Transportation Club, the Jaycees and the Elks Club. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. He was known by most of his friends as "Weil Man".

He was preceded in death by his sons, Anthony Charles, Michael David, and Michael Barron.

Surviving Mr. Weil is his wife of 70 years, Loyce O'Quinn Weil of Richmond Hill, GA, son and daughter-in-law, David and Tammy Weil, and daughter, Connie Weil Carlisle. Also surviving are his eight grandchildren, Torie Polk, Dustin Weil, Tyler Weil, Taylor Carlisle, Jacob Weil, Brooke Carlisle, Ethan Weil, Abby Weil, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will sit Shiva, Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at 501 Wild Acres Road, Richmond Hill, GA.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in Bonaventure Cemetery, with Rabbi Samuel Gelman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
