Daniel E. Wetzel, 62, of Hereford, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at his home.
Born October 31, 1963, in Allentown, Daniel was the son of the late Lewis E. and Janet D. (Rissmiller) Wetzel.
Dan was a 1981 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. He worked for Day-Timer, East Texas, and Suppression Systems, Inc., Pennsburg, PA. Dan was an avid animal lover and enjoyed racing dogs and hunting.
Dan is survived by his niece, Jamie L. (Bieber) Spaar, wife of Matthew D. Spaar, Hereford, his nephew, Allen W. Gracely, Mertztown, his cousins, Audrey A. (Wetzel) Zettlemoyer, wife of Justin S. Zettlemoyer, Kutztown, and Dodie M. (Wetzel) Hollenbach, wife of Edward W. Hollenbach, Topton, and by many great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Along with his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his sister, Debra L. (Wetzel) Leinbach.
Services for Dan will be held privately by his family.
