On December 16, 2025, Daniel S. Wheeler, Sr., died peacefully in Belcamp, Maryland. He is predeceased by his parents, Jack Wilmer Wheeler and Dorothy May Neighoff Wheeler and by his brother John M. Wheeler. Dan is survived by his children Charles D. Wheeler and his wife Danielle, Daniel S. Wheeler, Jr and his wife Patricia Ysern, Nicholas D. Wheeler, Sara T. Moore and her husband Tyler, and Katie M. McCleary and her husband James. He is also survived by his brother Patrick D. Wheeler and his wife Robin and by his sister Kathleen "Sadie" Wheeler. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway exit 26) on Sunday from 1PM-5PM. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 10AM. Interment, private.
