Daniel Wildner, a dedicated family member, passed away on December 30, 2025, in Oakdale, NY. Born on August 17, 1954, Daniel lived a life marked by hard work and a commitment to his family.
He was a proud graduate of high school, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. Daniel’s professional life was only one facet of who he was; he found joy and meaning in the bonds he formed with his family and friends.
Daniel is survived by his loving sister Ellen Nied and her husband Mike, brother Arnold "Butch" Wildner, brother David Wildner and his wife Anna, and sisters Elizabeth Smith and her husband Rob, and Eileen Aubert. He is also survived by his brother William Wildner and his wife Meilani. He is survived by brother-in-law John LoPresti, nephews Paul Relyea and his wife Marisa, niece Pattie O'Toole and her husband Mike, Greg Smith and his wife Stephanie, Nick LoPresti, and Alex Wildner, as well as niece Jennifer Schilling, and great-nephews Sean and Jake Relyea. His spirit will also live on through great-nieces Rory O'Toole, Victoria Schilling, and Alexandria Schilling. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Marie Wildner, sister Eleanor LoPresti, niece Laura Wildner, and nephew Bryan LoPresti, all of whom he held dearly in his heart.
The visitation service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953.
Daniel's life was filled with love, laughter, and the unwavering support of his family. Those who knew him will remember him for his kindness, generosity, attention to detail, and the special moments shared together. Though he is gone, his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
