Daniel Claude Wilson, Jr. passed away on February 11, 2026. There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony held soon, with the date to be announced at a later date.
Daniel Wilson was a charismatic man, known for the way he could capture a room. He would do anything to help others, often going out of his way to ensure the safety of his family, or his guys at work. He valued hard work and instilled that in those that knew him. He was employed with Vulcan Materials for 28 dedicated years and had climbed the ranks to District Operations Manager.
He leaves behind his childhood sweetheart and wife of 27 years, Lena; their 2 children, Jordan and Emily; his parents, Dan and Gloria; his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Rebecca Wilson; and his niece and nephew, Ashley Mcleod and Austin Wilson. He had recently welcomed Chase Heaton into the family, as well, as his future son-in-law.
Daniel was awaited in Heaven by his maternal grandmother, LouEllen Davis, and his paternal grandmother, Grace Goss.
