Lewis Daniel Wilson, known affectionately as Daniel, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on February 28, 1973, in Woodbury, Tennessee, Daniel was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished G PaPa, and loyal brother. A true son of Cannon County, he built a life rooted in his community, defined by hard work and his deep devotion to his family.

Daniel was the steadfast provider for his family, working diligently at Ravago for the past 19 years. Prior to this, he loved telling stories about his time as a security supervisor at a hospital and later as an armed guard, that would often have him laughing until he cried.

In his younger years, Daniel loved the outdoors, particularly hunting and competitive shooting sports. However, his greatest joy was his family. He lived for his children and grandchildren, and his favorite thing to do was simply spend time with them. He especially loved being G PaPa to his grandchildren, whom he spoiled to no end.

Daniel's love, laughter, and colorful stories will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Wilson; his sons, Andy ( Cierra) , Alex, and Logan Wilson; and his "worst son," his daughter, Paige (Steven). He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Ember, Kiley, Addison, Elliot, and Kaylynne, and one grandchild expected any day.

Daniel is also survived by his sister, Patricia McCart and her husband, Edward; his brother, Ivan Wilson and his wife, Sandra; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mary Wilson, his sisters, Donna and Pearl, and his brother, Jerry.

Visitation will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We will be leaving in funeral procession at 1:00 PM going to Bethlehem Cemetery in Hillsboro, TN for graveside services and burial.
