Daniel Harold Wing, Sr., 65, of Shawnee, Ohio died at 10:08am on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born November 11, 1957 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late William Harold and Beatrice Lavrene Bazemore Wing.
Daniel was a United States Navy Veteran; an Environmental and Safety Coordinator and a licensed Real Estate Agent; he loved to play golf and was a lifelong Georgia Bulldog Fan; he liked to hunt and loved boating and spending time with his wife and father-in-law. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church of Maxville.
Survived by his wife of 24 years, Lisa Snider Wing; children, Mandy Morris (Angelo), Daniel (Angel) Wing, Jr. and Kimberly (James) Jones; grandchildren, Susie, Stephan, Christopher, Colton and one on the way; brother, Michael Wing and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his infant son, Matthew Wing and sister, Kelly Wing.
Calling hours will be held from 2pm-8pm on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and from 9am-10am at the church on Saturday.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Maxville, Ohio with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating.
Burial will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with graveside military services by James E. Fisher Post #376, American Legion, Junction City, Ohio.

His father and my husband, Eugene King were cousins and spent time together. I did not know Daniel but knew the family. I certainly want to say how sorry I am and that I know this type of loss and it hurts. Prayers for the family. From Peggy King
