Joseph Silva Wing, 87, of Clanton, Alabama passed away February 27, 2026, at Hatley's Healthcare in Clanton, AL.
He was born May 5, 1938, in Montgomery, Alabama, son of the late Earl Wing of Montgomery, AL and Virginia Rhyne Wing of Smyrna, GA.
He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, later obtaining a Degree in Mathematics from Livingston University. He took over Wing's Locksmith Shop, which was a family business established in 1861 in downtown Montgomery, AL. He served as President of The Exchange Club of Montgomery.
Surviving are his Daughters, DeDe (Lee) Schofield, Lisa (Islem) Perdue, Jolie (Bryan) Anderson; Grandchildren, Brittany Dunn, Brandon Schofield, Wesley Perdue, Daniel Perdue, and Abby Anderson;
Great-Granddaughter, Mila Schofield and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Earl Wing; Mother, Virginia Rhyne Wing; Wife, Gail Wing; and Siblings, Earl Wing, Jr., Walter Wing (twin), and Virginia Hendricks.
