Obituary
Daniel "Danny Zee" Zurawski, 70, of Crystal Lake Illinois, passed away surrounded by his loving family May 17, 2023. He was born November 19, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois to John and Mildred Zurawski.
Danny graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He loved to spend his free time golfing, fishing, hunting, and snowboarding. Danny was an avid pool hustler as well. Danny had a great love for all his family, but especially for his grandchildren and his dog Patches.
Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Judy Zurawski, whom he married May 20, 2000; his stepchildren, Nicki (Chuck) Nowosielski of Huntley Illinois, Chris (Breannah) Matelli of Athens, Tennessee; grandchildren, Landon and Lorelei Matelli, and Nora Nowosielski; mother, Mildred Zurawski; siblings, Pat (Cliff) Brooks, Nancy Sabbia, and Sue Netzel; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, John Zurawski.
Visitation will be held May 24, 2023 from 4-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory 419 E Terra Cotta Avenue, Crystal Lake Illinois.
