Danielle Nicole Brown, age 42, of Danville, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.

She was born on June 14, 1983, in Millersburg, Ohio to Robert L. and Teresa A. (McCollum) Brown.

Danielle graduated from Danville High School and the Knox County Career Center in 2002. She was Miss Wheelchair of Ohio in 2009. She also went to Rapid City, South Dakota to compete for the National title of Miss Wheelchair for 2010. Danielle was the President of the ICAN2 at the Knox County Board of DD. Danielle received The Public Image Award of Excellence Self Advocate 2015. She was a Member of The Mount Vernon Church of Christ.

Danielle is survived by her parents, Robert and Teresa Brown; a brother, Jereme (Renee) Brown; two aunts, Connie Durbin and Robia (Brad) Kaylor; a niece, Shayla Ingram; special friend, J.C. Grubaugh; along with numerous cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Calvin and Garnet Brown; maternal grandparents, Preston and Iris McCollum; and an uncle, Ronald Durbin Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. Where funeral services will be on Friday, March 6, 2026 – 11:00 AM with Minister Ben Driver officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made in Honor of Danielle to: Mount Vernon Church of Christ or to the Recreational Unlimited Camp.
