Danielle Lashae Downton, born April 7, 1988, in Lima, Ohio passed August 13, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Danielle was a graduate of Lima Senior High School class of 2006. Danielle will always be remembered for her fun, loving sense of humor. She could make anyone laugh. To know Danny was to love her. She loved to decorate and shop. She was very creative and used her talent to decorate clothes and shoes. More than anything Danielle loved her family, she always wanted her family to gather for special occasions with good food and music. Danielle loved music and dancing and having fun, she lived her life to the fullest despite any and all obstacles that came her way. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and was special to everyone who knew her. Danielle was proceeded in death by a paternal grandfather, William R. Downton Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory a very special daughter, Nalayia I. Cartwright; father, William R. Downton Jr.; her parents, Mr. Calvin and Kendra (Benjamin) Johnson; paternal grandmother, Lavetta Mclure of Los Angeles, California; maternal grandmother, Brenda Sanders of Lima, Ohio; maternal grandfather, Shellie Benjamin of Hobe Sound, Florida; four brothers, Datrion L. Downton, William R. Downton lll, Tomasja Downton and Brenden R. Johnson; two sisters, Jayde N. Downton and Amari L. Cunningham, all of Lima, Ohio; a host of very special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched- They must be felt with the heart Day Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of Danielle Downton.
