Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Danielle Givens, age 52, passed away on October 28, 2025, after an acute illness.
Danielle is survived by her sons Bailey and Conner of Sacramento, her mother Patricia of Redding, her sisters Tracey (Brad) of Lincoln and Angel (Mike) of Galt, brother Keith (Tammi) of Fair Oaks. Danielle is also survived by aunts Helen, Julie, Carol and Sue, Uncles Virgil and Gary, nieces and nephews (Jenae, Kaila, Erika, Megan, Zack, Robby, Heather), great nieces and nephews (Ayla, Noah, Alex, Lorenzo, Grace, Koltin, Isaac, Reina, Everly, Mikey, Sara). She was loved by many cousins, extended family and friends.
Danielle was preceded in death by her son Bennett, father Wilford, her grandparents Robert and Kathryn, Virgil and Marie, Aunts Kathy and Peggy, Uncle Jack and Uncle John.
Danielle was known for her infectious laugh, as well as her deep care and concern for others. Her sons were a constant source of pride and joy. She treasured family and friends above all else. She loved deeply and demonstrated a genuine empathy for all. She was also a talented artist, who painted vibrantly and sketched beautifully. She was a loving and beautiful soul.
As a family, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace in Heaven in the loving arms of her dad, holding her son Bennett and basking in the glow of our Lord and Savior.
Services for Danielle will be held at Gormley & Sons Funeral Home at 2015 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95811, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11am. A private disposition of ashes will be held later. As an option, in lieu of flowers, donations to Chalk It Up, a local non-profit art foundation may be made in Danielle’s memory.
