It's with the greatest of sorrow and heart break that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Danielle
Jean Gonzalez. Danielle was not just our daughter, she was a loving mother to her four beautiful children, Taylor,
Justin Jr, Mikayla, Ivan, and proud grandmother to Damani Joseph (DJ).
Her children and grandson were the loves of her life, they meant everything to her.
Danielle looked forward to and valued her time with her children whether it be at home snuggled up together
watching videos, playing cards, board games or watching their practices and ball games. She enjoyed taking them
to a park to play basketball, to let them know mom could still play the game. She was always there to support them
and listen to what they had to say.
Danielle has a younger brother Lowell Hall Jr, whom she was close to and loved very much. They both knew that no
matter what, they were always there for each other. There were many long hours of talk and laughter between
them that will be missed.
Danielle was born July 30, 1981 in Missoula MT. She attended school at Lolo Elementary then moved to Target
Range middle school. She was involved in several sports growing up, competed in Judo, baseball, bowling league,
volleyball and her favorite sport of basketball.
She attended her first year of high school at Big Sky in Missoula then in the summer of 1996, with her mother, she
moved to Yelm, WA. Danielle attended Yelm High School. While there she played on the volleyball team, softball
and basketball. She even tried golf. She loved all sports. Danielle graduated high school in 1999.
She met her husband to be, Justin Gonzalez Sr, while living and going to school in Yelm.
They made a home in Lakewood and together they raised their four children until they divorced in 2015.
While married, Danielle owned and operated a children's thrift store in Lakewood with the help of her mother in law,
Marie Carter. Marie remained a very special friend to Danielle after her divorce and up until her passing.
After the closing of her store and divorce Danielle went into the workforce. While employed by a machine shop, she
learned how to put together quotes for the manufacturing of airplane parts, and learned how to machine. From
there she worked at a tooling company in Tacoma, to be closer to home and her children. This ended due to Covid
and business layoffs.
Her last employment, up until her passing, was working for T&A Commercial Flooring Supply as a customer service
rep. No matter what her job description was, she had an amazing ability to learn and quickly became a valued
employee. She handled the customers with knowledge and humor, they enjoyed working with her.
Danielle did not like to be the center of attention but her beauty, intelligence and quick wit always put her there.
Danielle is survived by her children Taylor, Justin Jr, Mikayla and Ivan, her grandson Damani Joseph, brother Lowell,
mother Kim and step-father Wayne Johnston. She has many more family and friends who are mourning her loss.
Sweetheart You Were Always More Than You Believed Words cannot express my love for you and how much
you are missed, Mom
May You Rest In Peace My Sweet Darling til we meet again
