Born in Summit to (Arnold) Harvey Leon and Joan (née Buchhiem) Dorosin, she grew up in Edison, NJ. She then lived in South Brunswick for 25 years and finally settled in Long Branch 1 year ago.
Danielle spent three years as both a gym owner and fitness instructor at Fitness Factory in Holmdel, where she pursued her passion for motivation, inspiring, and transforming lives. It was a calling she was not only deeply committed to but also truly excelled at. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, she had proudly become a gym owner in the past year – an achievement that meant the world to her.
Outside of work, Danielle cherished her time at the beach, enjoyed working out, listening to music, watching cooking shows, and most of all, being with her children and close friends.
Surviving are her son, Alex Kerker of Princeton; her daughter, Marin Kerker of Princeton; her brother, Gary Leon of Hillsborough; and her mother and stepfather, Joan and Saul Dorosin.
A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:15 am, at Temple B'Nai Shalom, 15 Fern Road, East Brunswick, NJ, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, NJ. For directions, please view our "Events" listed below.
