Danielle Rae Lyndes, a beacon of light and love, passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 33, in Seattle, Washington. Born on July 28, 1990, in Missoula, Montana, Danielle grew into a woman who was as adventurous as she was kind-hearted, touching the lives of all who knew her.
Danielle was the cherished daughter of Chris and Mel Lyndes of Seattle, Washington. She was a member of an extensive family that included numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins across the United States and in the Philippines. Danielle's loving spirit and infectious smile served as a cornerstone for her family, and her absence will leave an irreplaceable gap in the Lyndes family.
In 2012, Danielle proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Northwestern University in Kirkland, Washington. Her academic achievements were just the beginning of a successful and fulfilling career. She spent the last two years as a Campus Recruiter for Baker Tilly in Seattle, and before that, she enriched the team at Anderson Tax. Her colleagues remember her as someone who found joy in the success of others, and her passion for making connections and building relationships was at the heart of her professional journey.
Danielle's zest for life was unparalleled. She was an adventurer at heart, always seeking new experiences and challenges. Her fearless nature led her to perform daring feats, such as jumping off the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas, one of her most thrilling escapades. She shared a love for the skies with her mother, with whom she went parasailing over the Puget Sound, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Her love for travel and helping others took her to Mexico on multiple occasions, where she participated in building houses for homeless families. These trips were a testament to her selfless nature and her desire to make a tangible difference in the world. Danielle was also an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners and held a special place in her heart for her all-time favorite player, Ken Griffey Jr.
When she wasn't seeking adventure, Danielle could be found on stage. Her quick wit and natural talent for improv comedy brought laughter to many and served as an outlet for her creative expression. Those who shared the stage with her will remember her as an inspiring presence, always ready to support her fellow performers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwest University of Kirkland, Washington or to the Seattle Epilepsy Fund.

There is a hole in my heart. I´ve been dismayed and devastated since learning of your passing. We would text often and each day I see something I know would make you laugh and then, again, I remember you are gone. Rest easy, friend.

Danielle and I became fast friends in school. Having similar backgrounds, temperaments, and humor created a quick bond. After graduating, she called or texted me nearly daily. My day was incomplete without talking to her. She showed me what strength and intentionality looked like. My only regret is that we were not able to spend time in person the way I wish we would´ve been able to if I lived closer. She is a person that I would consider one of my soul-friends. That was like a sister to me and I knew I would be able to fall into the safety and security of her presence no matter how much times passed. I will always remember that she had the most beautiful smile and the most beautiful heart to match. Love you so much my beautiful friend. Thank you mom and dad for raising such a sweet soul that changed my life.

Oh my sweet friend. I am beyond heartbroken to hear the world has lost such an amazing human being. There is a hole where there used to be laughter and a huge smile. How will I ever pick another show to watch without your input and running commentary? I love you and will think of you often. We will always have Chili´s

Danielle was an incredibly encouraging friend! She made me laugh so hard, so many times. When we were roommates in college and one semester on Tuesdays & Thursdays my first class started at 9:30 and her first class started at 8. Every Tuesday and Thursday I would wake up and find an egg sandwich from the cafeteria on my desk. One summer we stayed the night on the trampoline at my parents´ house in their backyard, Danielle told me afterwards that she loved "camping". This past year Danielle encouraged me as I took the next step in my career and moved into a new job. Her love, care and friendship will be so missed! Thinking of and praying for her family and all who loved this amazing woman.

Danielle - my precious friend - oh how you will be missed. Your love for your friends, hysterical sense of humor, and endless kindness will never be forgotten. I miss you and love you. You brought so much joy to my life and those around you. I will see you again, friend. Until then, I will guess your wordle word every day in hopes of it being the right word!

My heart goes out to the whole family. Danielle´s dedication to our friendship was beyond amazing. Her texts and calls always made me smile and laugh. She sent me a beautiful coffee mug when I graduated with my Masters, another cup when I adopted my first dog (she knew I was a coffee lover), and was overall so utterly thoughtful and caring and funny. I will miss her terribly but will find peace knowing she´s watching over all of us, cheering us on in everything that we do.
