Danielle Marcelle Lucienne Fleury Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by White Funeral Home - Lakeville on Jun. 20, 2025.
Danielle Marcelle Lucienne Fleury was born August 7, 1944, in the town of Rugles in Normandy
France, to parents Lucien and Sylviane Fleury and she was their only child. Growing up in
France, she pursued beauty school in Evreux, France. Danielle's first salon was in Evreux,
which is also where she met her first husband, Donald Wilson who came in for a haircut while
serving in the military at nearby air base. On June 5th of 1967, Danielle made a courageous
move to leave France and move across the globe to Orange County, California to start her
family with her husband.
Danielle's lifelong career as a beautician allowed her to share her talent and passion with
hundreds of clients over the years. Danielle has been a business owner for over 35 years in
Burnsville; she cultivated deep relationships with her clients who truly were regarded as family
to her. Danielle is passionate about her French heritage, which showed through her sharp sense
of style, her love for French music and her gifted eye for creating beautiful spaces in her home
with French flair. While her life was filled with many beautiful moments, Danielle also battled
numerous health concerns throughout her lifetime, which displayed her strong sense of faith in
God and her survivor strength to overcome life's most difficult seasons. Danielle had crosses
and prayers tucked in nearly every drawer, cabinet, purse and pocket-she drew upon the
strength of her savior to forge through the most challenging times. Living for her family was
important, but the first question she would ask the doctors during health set backs was "When
will I be able to return to work?" She truly loved serving her community of clients and she was
the happiest behind the chair where she could be with her clients and making them feel special.
Becoming "Granny" was without a doubt the most pride filled season of her life. Danielle was so
proud of each of her grandchildren and she was grateful to be so well-loved by them also.
Danielle loved animals, and her sweetest companion, Maya was so precious to her.
Danielle passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 10,
2025.
Danielle is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Anissa Nugent (Mike) and Jeffrey
Wilson (Lisa). Danielle adored her three precious grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly:
Jack & Olivia Wilson and Ryan Nugent. Her strength, persistent joy despite so many
adversities, generous kindness and love will be missed by all who knew her, though we are so
grateful that she's been made whole in Heaven.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to her many clients and friends who she also
cherished.
Her funeral will be Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 P.M. with a visitation one hour prior.
