Danilo Domingo Obituary
Danilo D. Domingo, 69, of Columbia, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at his residence. Danilo was born on September 25, 1953 in Marikina, Philippines to Ms. Beatriz Domingo.
In 1975, Danilo entered the US Army and proudly served his country until being honorably discharged. During his service, he was actively deployed to Germany. He was awarded the M-16 Rifle and Hand Grenade Marksman Badges.
Danilo was an active member of the American Legion Post and The Disabled Veterans of America. He loved to watch sports, play bingo and travel in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Gloria.
Those left to cherish many fond memories are his loving mother, Beatriz Domingo; son, Derek; brothers, Angel, Fernando and Dade; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sympathizing friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 5pm until 7 pm at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road Columbia, SC 29209. Interment Services with military honors will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC.
