Danny Ray “DRay” Acton, 62, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, June 10, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born April 24, 1963, to the late Ledward Sr. and Thelma Acton.
Throughout his life, DRay was known for his unwavering support of the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed watching westerns, barbequing, following the New York Yankees, and going on many trips with his closest friend, Gary Johnson. DRay cherished time spent with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, DRay is preceded in death by a brother, Yardley Acton, and a sister, Karen Acton Carbon.
Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Sabrina Russell, Deborah Acton, Ledward Acton Jr. and Anthony Acton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
