Danny Arney Obituary

Born in Lynch, Kentucky, on November 13, 1948, he was the son of the late James Arney and the late Ruth Hoskins Arney Cooke.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He first worked as a lineman for the United Coal Company and then worked and retired from the maintenance department at Carbo Power Plant. An avid outdoorsman and craftsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Lou Campbell Arney; son, James Arney and wife Brennan; grandchildren, Andrew Arney and wife Emily and Abigayle Arney; brother, Terry Arney.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon, Va., with Rev. Craig Barber officiating.
