Jeffrey K. Hicks

Jeffrey Keith Hicks, age 58, of Lebanon, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Born in Lebanon, on April 4, 1967, he was the son of the late Worley and Faye Mitchell Hicks.

He loved Jesus and his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren. A Licensed Practical Nurse, he worked in nursing homes for 15 years. He adored the elderly and always looked forward to dressing up as Santa Claus for them during Christmas. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch and talking to anyone who passed by.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Worley Leon Hicks.

Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Donna Hicks; children, Johnathon Blake Neece and wife Alexis and Ashley Neece and companion Tony Woods; grandchildren, Brantley, Brayden, Abby, Ben, Brynlee, and Makenzie; special friends. Tim Ferguson, Rodney Davidson, and Brian Taylor

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Danny Rhea officiating. An honor service will be conducted by the Southwest Virginia Nurse Honor Guard.

Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home one hour before the service.
