Danny Milton Bowen

Danny Milton Bowen, born on September 1, 1967, in Athens, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, also in his beloved hometown. He was a dedicated and hardworking individual, making a lasting impact in the food service industry throughout his career.

Danny is remembered fondly by his family and friends for his compassionate spirit and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. He is survived by his son, Robert Thomas Bowen, and his brother, Joseph "Roger" (Tamala) Bowen, who will cherish his memory and the moments shared together.

Danny was preceded in death by his loving parents, James Thomas Sr. and Margie Ellen Milton Bowen, as well as his sister, Mary Ellen Bowen, and his brother, James Thomas Bowen, Jr. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew them.

A visitation will be held to honor Danny's life on January 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location, starting at 12:00 PM with Rev. Grady Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens.
