Danny Collins, 74, of Olton, died Thursday, April 3, 2025, in his home surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Olton Cemetery, with Rev. Ronnie Newton officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2025, at Ramage Funeral Directors, in Olton.

Danny was born November 12, 1950, in Amherst, Texas, to Royce and Mary (Newton) Collins. He married Quenette Redinger on August 14, 1971, in Olton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a rancher. He served on the West Texas - New Mexico Paint Horse Association Board for six years and the Lamb County and Olton Junior Livestock Board for 13 years. Danny's passion for horses and livestock led to many lifelong friendships that he cherished.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Royce and Mary Collins in 2009.

Danny is survived by his wife, Quenette Collins of Olton, a daughter, LaDanda Kauffman of Olton, and a son, Casey Collins of Olton. He was blessed with two grandsons, Hunter and Kasen Kauffman and a sister, Leisa Lewis of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Olton Junior Livestock Association PO Box 67 Olton, Texas 79064 or a favorite charity.
