Danny Lee Crews

Danny Lee Crews, age 73, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on February 19, 2026. Born on September 2, 1952, in Wataga County, North Carolina, Danny was the beloved son of the late Irving and Mildred Crews. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, culminating his career as a Master Chief.

Danny was not only a dedicated serviceman but also a retired building supervisor and a member of the First Baptist Church of Norfolk. He cherished singing in the choir, where his passion for music shone brightly, bringing joy to those around him.

Danny was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Holmes; brother, Mark Crews; and Step-father, Bobby Wayne Carroll.

Danny is survived by his loving wife, Lillie Crews; daughter Jennifer Crews , Va Beach; son Jason Crews-Stephanie, East Bend NC; grandchildren Hayley, and Garret Crews ,Va Beach, Daylen ,East Bend NC; as well as his siblings - brothers David, Advance, NC, Cindy Loftin, Lewisville, NC, Robert Crews, Melbourne, FL , and Derek Crews, Pottsboro, Texas. He also leaves behind brothers-in-law James Church (Lynn) and Phillip Church (Gena), along with sister-in-law Lynne C. Patrick (William).
