Donna Ramos

Donna Delia Ramos of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 74.

Donna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose strength, warmth, and selflessness touched everyone who knew her. She was truly one of the most selfless people we have known, always placing her family and others before herself and offering unwavering love and support throughout her life.

She proudly served her country as a United States Army veteran, working as a medic during the Vietnam War, demonstrating the same courage, compassion, and dedication she carried throughout her life.

Donna is survived by her devoted husband of 27 years, Frank; her beloved sons, Ernesto Acosta and Roberto Capa, and their wives Christy and Juwanda; Stepsons Frank Jr.(Tricia), and Jeff; her cherished grandchildren, Tynasia, BJ, Asianna, Elijah, Frank 3rd , Amayah, Kyle, Isaiah and Maliyah for whom she was their biggest fan, always encouraging, cheering, and creating cherished memories; and her loving siblings, Karen, Kathy, Diana, and Patrick; and many nieces and nephews who she cherished deeply.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret, and her siblings Beth, Steven, and James.

Donna enjoyed life's simple pleasures - she loved playing the slots, watching football, cheering on her favorite NASCAR drivers with her husband Frank, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and creating joyful memories. She also treasured the time spent with her best friend turned family, JoAnn, sharing laughter, love, and lifelong friendship.

Visitation will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home & Crematory (8464 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, VA) on February 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by military honors from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Donna's legacy of love, service, and selflessness lives on through her family and friends, who were her greatest pride and joy. She will be forever remembered, deeply missed, and eternally loved.
