Danny Philip Cuffman

Danny Cuffman passed away March 15, 2024 in Willows California from complications after he suffered a stroke.
Danny was born to Jack and Sally Cuffman in Napa California where he was raised. He graduated from Vintage High School and became an electrical engineer on naval submarines. Danny loved working cattle with his best friend and mentor Bob Fumasi and took early retirement to start his own dairy in Orland California in 1996. If he wasn't in the barn milking the cows he was going on fire calls with his son in law and fellow fireman Scott Studybaker. Danny served his community as a volunteer fireman for Capay Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years. After retiring from the dairy Danny spent every day he could with his grandsons and family. He enjoyed spending days with his dog Bandit, whale watching on San Juan Island, golfing, fishing, and spending time at his home at Lake Almanor.
Danny is survived by his wife of 47 years Ruth Cuffman of Orland, daughter Amy Studybaker, son in law Scott Studybaker, 3 grandsons Tyler, Trevor, and Austin Studybaker of Orland. His " boys" he thought of as sons, Ed Fumasi of Orland and Joe Fumasi of Florida. His stepdaughter Rebeca Pitts of Paradise, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. His mother Sally Cuffman of Oregon. Brother David Cuffman of Napa. Sister Lorrie LaPoint of Michigan. Niece Tracy LaPoint of Napa. Nephews Tim LaPoint of Oregon and David Cuffman Jr. of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Cuffman in 2022.
