Danny "Eddie" Dement, departed this life on April 5, 2024 in Potosi, Missouri. He was born on February 1, 1930, in Redford, MO. Eddie was known for his warm personality and his dedication to his loved ones. He found joy in simple pleasures like laughing at jokes, playing guitar, and fishing.
Those left to carry on his legacy are his daughters: Barbie Barton of Centerville, MO; Lori Williams-Rice and her husband Jeff of Nobelsville, IN; and Missy Coleman and her husband Jack of Cadet, MO; and sons Dan Dement and his wife Becky of Ellington, MO; Tim Dement and his wife Mary of Barboo, WI; Aaron Dement of Centerville, MO. He is also survived by sisters Velma Bowles of Potosi, MO; and Norma Beuhler of Fredericktown, MO; 10 grandchildren; Matthew, Andrea, Justin, Janell, Erica, Chad, Christopher, Devan, Ryan and Cody: 13 great-grandchildren, Bryce, Weston, Hana, Gavinn, Calvin, Lucas, Hadley, Ryder, Danny, Thomas, Audrey, Devan Jr. and Barrett ; 1 great-great-grandchild, Hazel Grace.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother Leona (Casey) Dement and father Daniel Dement; sisters Lucille Goodman, Thelma McNail and Rose Forshee; brothers Elmo Dement, Glen Dement ,Stanley Elwood Dement, Harold Dement and Wayne Dement; grandchildren, Jason and Trey.
"Eddie" will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love he shared with those around him and the impact he had on all who knew him.
