Danny Lee Heath, 63, of Hutchinson, died Friday, June 13, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born September 17, 1961, in Odessa, TX, to Rex Dean and Patricia Louise (Hoppes) Heath.
Danny graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1979. He was a "Jack of all trades" and worked for himself in pretty much everything, especially construction work.
In his spare time, Danny enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing at the river, and being outdoors.
On October 1, 1988, he married Joy Ann Kinast in Hutchinson. They later divorced.
Danny is survived by: his children, Tiffany (Dillon) McArthur, Travis (Britney) Kinast, Megan (Edward) Latham, and Preston Heath; grandchildren, Colby, Brooklynn, Kennidy, Bryce, Lylah, Malyea, Hannah, Haylee, Ace, Brynnlee, and Elliott; siblings, Cathy Lilley, Terry Heath, and Sharon Heath.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Heath.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Nickerson Community Center, 11 N. Nickerson St, Nickerson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Danny Heath Memorial fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. To benefit the Danny Heath Memorial Fund, please make checks payable to Elliott Mortuary.
