Survivors include son Jody Hendon, daughters Tina Briggs and Skye Flores, grandchildren Elektra and Keisha Briggs, Tiona, Jeremiah, Tina Marie, Cheyenne, Destin, Elouise, Richard and Autumn, and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Press Kenneth Hendon and Litha Jane Craine-Hendon, brothers Jimmy Chapin, Raymond Hendon, Kenneth Hendon, sisters Pat Rummage, Linda Cunningham, Kay Cunningham, Brenda Joyce Shepard, Carolyn Chapin, Francis McCumber, grandparents George and Doris Hendon, Thomas George Craine, Lilly Jane Wagner.
Danny was a loving father. He thought the world of his flower beds and garden, loved fishing and decorating for Christmas, knowing the community enjoyed seeing his display.
Danny was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mobile Construction Battalion 4, rank E-3.
Graveside services will be 10:00am Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Camp (Arkansas) Cemetery with Bro. Jake Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
