Robert “Pete” Hendon, 83, of West Monroe, LA was born on April 20, 1942, in Palm Beach County, FL and passed away on August 28, 2025, in Monroe, LA.
Pete graduated from Bossier High School and attended Northeast Louisiana University (ULM). He had a career as a businessman, owning Hendon’s Mobile Homes and Hendon’s Buildings and Carports. Pete loved to be outdoors, fishing, and golfing.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Florence Hendon; and niece, Leah Singer.
Survivors include his sister, Diane Hendon Mason; children, Jason Hendon and wife, Toni, Amber Hendon Townsend and former spouse, Lee, Heath Hendon and wife, Tabitha; grandchildren, Morgan Hendon O’Neal and husband, Michael, Kelcie Hendon Martin and husband, Lance, Hannah Townsend Cohoon and husband, Cody, Jacob Townsend and wife, Carly, Joshua Townsend, Holland Hendon, and Montgomeri Hendon Corrent and husband, Caleb; great grandchildren, Kinley, Emersyn, Carter, Hutton, Jax, Emmy and Ellie; and niece, Laurie Austin.
