Graveside Services for Nonie V. Jones Davis will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11:00AM at Hasley Cemetery Pavilion in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Ricky Bonnett officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Nonie was born August 25, 1940 in Delhi, LA and she passed Sunday, August 31, 2025. She graduated from Delhi High School in 1958. She met her late husband, Chapman Floyd Davis, Jr. and they were married on December 1, 1961. They were together for 63 years and were proud parents of two children.
Nonie was a resident of West Monroe, LA for 50 years before moving to Carthage, Texas to be close to family. She worked in the Ouachita Parish School system, including Riser and Lenwil Elementary, for many years. She enjoyed her time in both schools working with children and developing lifelong friendships along the way.
Nonie was preceded in death by her husband, Chapman Floyd Davis, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeff Davis (Sandra); daughter, Janet DellaCroce (Frank); grandchildren, Mitchell Davis (Morgan), Troy Davis (Raigan), Hannah DellaCroce, Nicholas DellaCroce, and Holley DellaCroce; great-grandchildren, Olivia Davis, Cole Davis, and Monroe Davis; and her sister-in-law, Ann Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to McGuire Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA.
