Danny Huffman Obituary
Danny Van Huffman, of Marion, tragically passed away on his 61st birthday, Friday, October 11, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, as a result of injuries he received during Hurricane Helene.
Danny was born in Valdese, NC, on October 11, 1963, to Barbara Hughes and the late Harold Huffman. Danny enjoyed a life of solitude in the Buck Creek community and loved riding motorcycles. He was an avid trader and enjoyed going to thrift stores. He will always be loved and missed by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother & step father, Barbara and Calvin Loftis; a son, Dustin Joshua Huffman; and two brothers, Michael Louis Huffman and Christopher Loftis.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Rev. Ronnie Gentry will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sunnyvale Baptist Church, c/o Tilly Elkins, 218 Hickory Hills Drive, Marion, NC 28752.
