Danny Ray Jenkins, age 74 passed away at 12:21pm on Monday, December 23,2024 at Danville Rehabilitation in Danville, Indiana in the Memory Care Unit. He passed away due to his battle with Dementia while holding his daughter’s hand. He was born in Harlan, Kentucky. He was survived by his daughter, Brittany Pedro; son, Daniel Jenkins; brother, Terry Jenkins; and sister, Judy Cole. He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren Jaylen Pedro, Jaysa Pedro and Joker Jenkins. Danny was a tool maker at Diamond Chain for nearly 30 years. He specialized in crating tools to speed up production. He had a passion for fixing things, especially cars. He was the most generous person you could ever meet. He spent a lot of time working in his garage on his old '52 Chevy Truck. He was loved very much by his family. He was the greatest Father, Papaw, Brother and Friend you could ask for. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Service will be held at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park at 425 North Holt Road Indianapolis, Indiana, at 12:00pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Visitation will be held prior beginning at 11:00am. Burial will take place in Floral Park Cemetery.
