In Loving Memory of Marion Routin
Forever Loved, Deeply Missed, Never Forgotten
With heavy hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of Marion Routin, who entered eternal rest on October 25, 2025, at the age of 64. Though his journey on this earth has ended, his spirit — strong, kind, and filled with love — will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
Marion had a heart of gold. He was a man who could bring warmth and light to even the darkest of rooms. He had a laugh that was contagious, a presence that was comforting, and a strength that lifted everyone around him. A jack of all trades and a master at many, Marion lived life with pride, purpose, and a deep love for his family.
He found true joy in fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. Whether sitting by the water, working on cars, or gathering with loved ones, Marion’s happiest moments were always surrounded by the people he cherished most. He built a life with his hands and his heart — from owning and working in his mechanic shop to running gutters in home improvement, Marion was a hardworking man who took care of his family and anyone who needed a helping hand.
He was so proud of his children and their accomplishments, and he’d want his family to remember him not with sorrow, but with smiles, stories, and love. Marion would want his name spoken often, as if he never left, because his love will always remain.
Marion was preceded in death by his beloved father, James H. Routin Sr., and his brothers, James H. Routin Jr. and Jimmy E. Routin.
He is survived by his loving mother Shirley K. Routin; sisters Ruth Ann Bainbridge and Debra Routin; devoted wife Peggy Routin; and his children Charles Routin, Nicholas Routin, Timothy Charnes, John Routin, Chrystal Routin.
Marion’s love lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Kayla Carpenter, Jazmine Routin, Kaiden Routin, Daniel Grimes, Braxton Routin, Khloe Foster, JJ Foster, Keira Routin, Logan Hadley, Paige Routin, Ari Routin, Emma Hadley, Meredith Routin, and Malachi Routin.
He was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought him so much joy and pride: Ivy Carpenter and Brantley Routin.
He is also remembered with deep love by everyone in the family. He would love to list them all so he doesn't make anyone feel less loved, but cant.
We all held a special place in his heart and shared his life, laughter, and strength.
Marion’s legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering devotion. His laughter will echo in family gatherings, his stories will be passed down through generations, and his love will continue to guide his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Though his time on earth has come to a close, his spirit will forever be a part of those he loved. Marion will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
